I begin each day with silence and meditation. The stillness allows me to reflect on a dream or the morning light filtering through the trees.
After this quiet time, I begin working with clay. The coolness between my fingers reminds me of when I was a child playing in the mud.
I begin the painting process after sundown at times. This time of day seems to allow the painting to emerge organically. One of my greatest joys is watching a painting unfold before my eyes.
